Abstract

World renowned artist Makoto Fujimura will speak about the process of painting his works, such as “The Silence of Light”, along with reflections on the background of how his paintings connect with the history of Japanese painting, American 20th century masters, and reflections on silence and light. The artist’s monumental pieces will be part of the “Dust and Gold” exhibit at ALIEN Art Centre in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (27.9.2025-30.8.2026). Join us for Fujimura’s illumination of the spiritual in art.
