Leadership from the Halls of Power

Leadership from the Halls of Power brings the audience inside the corridors of power and relates the personal stories and powerful findings of the ten-year Platinum Study. The project represents the largest ever interview-based study of senior leaders with more than 550 senior executives in business, government, higher education, and non-profit institutions, including two U.S. presidents; CEOs of Fortune 500 companies such as General Electric, JP Morgan Chase, Time Warner, and Xerox; and presidents of some of the worlds leading universities such as Harvard and Stanford.

In presenting the studys findings, Dr. Lindsay explains how leaders:

  • Rise to prominence
  • Handle challenges and respond to opportunities
  • Manage intense workloads while also preserving family commitments
  • Lead with their values in pluralistic contexts
  • Establish legacies of influence beyond their tenure
